In the late 14th century when the Inquisition swept across Europe, a beautiful and innocent young woman Isabella was tortured and burned at the stake in front of her lover on a charge for being a witch. Now 500 years later, a wealthy nobleman Jack Nelson and his young stepdaughter Laureen who bears a strong resemblance to the dead Isabella have come to take ownership of a renovated castle he has just bought.
